Foundation Forms are Ready

We're ready for the foundation concrete pour.

Scout and I inspect the work each evening.

One week in

Ground is graded and now we begin the forms for the foundation.

Scout loves being Queen of the Hill

Today came home to find the sidewalk under the kitchen sink out, and all the concrete carted away. Ground was leveled.

Scout is loving all the changes and interesting smells.

Weekend - No Progress

This was the view all weekend - a drop off outside the patio door, the bobcat and a pile of cement chunks.

Day Two

Bobcat managed to get into my backyard through the narrow space between my house and the neighbor.

Began breaking up patio concrete.

Day one of Addition

Today things started to happen. Privacy wall to right of patio doors, and patio roof was taken down; also the rain gutter removed.
